20 YEARS OF UDANCE!
Since 2007, UDance has been providing hope and financial support to families of children with cancer and creating a campus-wide tradition for the fight against childhood cancer. Since our start we have raised $21.9 million dollars and helped over 20,000 families.
Our goal this year is to raise $2 million dollars in honor of UDance’s 2Oth Anniversary.
Last week, we celebrated WEEK OF WHY.
Week of Why was celebrated with Memory Monday, A Week of Why Fair, Why Wednesday, Thank You Thursday, and FTK Friday.
During this special week, we held our 5th annual Why Wednesday. Members of the UDance community came together for a lantern lighting ceremony to honor our B+ Heroes & Angels, and all families impacted by childhood cancer.
We use this week to reflect on our why’s, to share the powerful reasons behind why we UDance and to honor our B+ Heroes & Angels.

Creating your fundraising page is STEP 1 to SUCCESS when putting your why into action. When making your page, join a team or as individual! Then, choose your program and select a fundraising goal.
Our Programs include: Moraler: $275, Dancer: $500, Comma Club: $1,000.
Going canning is a great way to fundraise, spread the message of UDance and share your why with others!
Canning is the in-person fundraising effort of standing in a highly populated outside area and collecting cash donations. Canning is a campus staple for fundraising!
An amazing way to share your why and get fundraising is to send a blue henvelope!
Henvelopes is one of the best ways to reach out to donors while making a personal impact. By mailing letters to family members, friends, teachers, and others, your fundraising goal will become that much more attainable! The average donation from a Blue Henvelope is $67.
You can make such a large impact in so many families lives by just leading with your why.
UDance is such a special organization because we are a community of college kids working together to help families and kids in need.
Leading with your why allows potential donors to gain a larger understanding of why we do what we do.
While fundraising is important, spreading awareness about the message of UDance and The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation comes before everything.
We hope recognizing your why & leading with it will lead you and UDance 2026 to AMAZING things! We can’t wait to get this 20th year of UDance started and make it the best one yet!
